City Guide

Renowned Kunstverein and museums with a great lineage

Hanover is often under-rated. Yet theres world-class contemporary art aplenty in the two great Kunstvereine and the Sprengelmuseum. The city that resides around Masch Lake promotes regional projects, while there are several museums dedicated to older art and cultural history, such as Museum August Kestner and Niedersächsisches Landesmuseum.
