Works by young artists are displayed in the up to 12 annual KUB exhibitions, which are complimented by an extensive accompanying program.

The Südvorstadt district is to provide a platform for young art – or so the members of the association artpa hoped when they converted a former locksmith’s workshop into Galerie KUB. A great deal has happened in its 200 square meters of exhibition space since it opened in 2004. Up to 12 presentations a year, primarily of Media Art, make for a colorful program. Alongside accompanying events from the fields of Electronic music, poetry and theater, since 2007 the KUB has also presented the annual performance festival "Blauverschiebung". This ‘fringe space’ strives to facilitate communication between artists from all over Europe and holds panel discussions.
