The city of spires and art high-flying museums

In West German days, Cologne was the European center of contemporary art. What has survived is an array of first-rate museums. The Wallraf Richartz Museum, the Museum Ludwig and Diözesanmuseum Kolumba are among the most famous of Colognes attractions. Not to mention the sculpture park of the Cologne Kunstverein.
